Gyaru Pose & Photo Editing Challenge (& a Gyaru Slang Lesson!) ✨ Last Week's Episode of Gal no Majisawagi (February 2, 2025)

For anyone who's new to this variety show and don't know about it, 

Gal no Majisawagi is a variety talk show starring the LOALO models, where they invite various guests for honest chats and fun challenges! ✨

In last week's episode of Gal no Majisawagi, they invited special guest Den-san. The gals participated in the challenge of taking pics of him and decorating them to make him look like a Gyaru lol

Whoever made him look the most like a gal in their picture wins. ✨

Each gal had 10 seconds to photograph him, and 3 minutes to edit their photo in whatever app of their choice. 

It was fun seeing the girls instructing den-san on how to pose for photos like a gal

Rebra instructing Den-san on how to do popular gyaru poses, like “gyaru peace” ✌🏾 ✌🏾 ✨ 

The models also explain some of the trendy Gyarugo or slang words!

For example, we have “-tisu” (てぃす)

some phrases are “ohatisu” (おはてぃす) & “OKtisu” (おけてぃす)

The girls explain that “-tisu” by itself has no meaning, but attaching it to the end of a word makes the word sound more gal. Lol

Apparently this is a phrase that’s gradually become popular among them lately.

Another one that Metiyoro recommended is “sosu” (そす)

The girls agree that this is one that Metiyoro says a lot lool 

Metiyoro says that she got that one from the anime called Made in Abyss.

I personally have never seen Made in Abyss but based on a quick Google search, the character “Faputa” uses そす “sosu” at the end of sentences to replace words like “desu” です & “masu” ます.

(maybe this one is a little harder to explain to non-Japanese speakers, and I wanna avoid turning this into a whole-ass Japanese lesson LOL 😂)

This makes a lot of sense for Metiyoro, as she's been vocal about loving anime and cosplay. ✨

Anyways! Here are some of the finished photos from the challenge: 

Rebra’s photo

She edited the photo to look like a Purikura picture, writing the phrase “Agetisu” あげてぃす (“age” is a common phrase among gals. It's like “hype” or “good vibes”)

She also made him look slightly more tanned.

Fukitisu’s photo

She stretched his fingernails out to look super long like a Gyaru’s nails lmao 🤣 

She even purposely included 3 missing nails lmaolmao. We all know that struggle XD

Metiyoro’s photo

She literally just made him look like he was on the cover of a whole ass LOALO magazine. 

I'm so impressed by this and she did it in only 3 minutes 😂

It's really fun seeing how genuinely excited Den-san is to see how they decorated his photos to make him look like a Gyaru
